What is VERDESO® Foam?
VERDESO® Foam is a twice-a-day prescription treatment for patients 3 months of age and older who have mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema).
Although eczema cannot be cured, it can be controlled. The goal of treatment is to reduce the symptoms and keep eczema from worsening.
How VERDESO® Foam Works
Topical Steroids and Eczema
One of the most commonly prescribed treatments for eczema is topical steroids (topical means it is applied directly to the skin). Topical steroids work to reduce inflammation and itching. They come in many different strengths and formulations.
Desonide 0.05%

Safety
VERDESO® Foam is proven safe and effective in patients 3 months of age or older.
VERDESO® Foam is for the treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in patients 3 months of age and older. Treatment should not exceed 4 consecutive weeks.
Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredients in this product.
In clinical trials, the most common side effects occurred at the application site.
VERDESO® Foam is a medication that contains a drug called a corticosteroid. Your body also makes corticosteroids. Like other medications that contain a corticosteroid, VERDESO® Foam may temporarily reduce the activity of your body's own corticosteroid producing system.
